Sarah Darby is a photographer and art director based in Oxfordshire. Her passion for photography began at an early age having a father and brother who were both keen photographers and whom she learned from to develop her own photos in the darkroom. After receiving her degree in Fine Art she moved to Hong Kong, lived on a junk, and travelled extensively in the Far East.
Now back in the UK, she designs and art directs books in the publishing industry and undertakes private and commercial photography commissions from headshots for the creative industries, to architectural, travel, and lifestyle brands. Her work is influenced by the desire to keep what is documented as real as possible. Her attraction to light, shadows, colour and atmosphere weaves throughout her work. She enjoys the diversity of her clients, customizing her work to their project with her natural aesthetics and creative eye.
